This is a photo I took of an enormous "wave" cloud that engulfed Boston during an extreme frontal passage on May 31, 2002. This was the leading
edge of two fronts that overran us about 45 minutes apart. I took this photo from the catwalk surrounding the air traffic control tower at BOS Logan airport in East Boston, Massachusetts. I work there as an ATC supervisor.
